Who writes our guides
In shortOur guides are written by the Hello Taxi editorial team, the people who run the Hello Taxi booking service in the app, on WhatsApp at +972 53-900-0023 and by phone at 02-376-7000. We only write what we have checked: our own measurements, and information from official sources that we link on every page.
How we check
- Our own measurements. We measure journey times with Google Maps by departure hour, and next to every table we say when we measured, for which day, and from where to where.
- Official sources. Tariffs and tariff hours come from the taxi price order and the National Public Transport Authority, and airport pickup points from the Israel Airports Authority. We link to them.
- No made-up prices. We do not publish a general "price for the ride", because it depends on your address, the hour and the tariff. For an ordinary ride in the Hello Taxi app you see an estimated price before you confirm, and the meter sets the final fare. On a ride the driver prices, you know the driver's price before you set off.
Updates and corrections
Every guide shows its publication date and last update. We change the update date only when the content itself changed. Found a mistake? Email hello@hellotaxi.co.il or message us on WhatsApp.
